Academic Interests

  • Shape Spaces and Applications

Deformable Templates and Diffeomorphic mappings: Correspond to a set methods using differential geometry for image analysis. They are a powerful tool that can be used to solve a wide range of problems in the field of image analysis. They are still an active area of research, but they have the potential to revolutionize the way we analyze and interpret images. They can be used for; Comparison of organ images before and after surgery to identify the changes that have taken place; Tracking the progression of a disease by comparing images taken at regular time intervals; Development of virtual atlases of the human body by aligning images of different people
  • Glioblastoma atlas estimation

The overall goal of my PhD was to propose a method to estimate a 3D atlas of glioblastoma using a population of MR brain images. The resulting atlas should describe the average shape of glioblastoma and its variability, which will depend on its anatomical location, as well as the main variations of the surrounding tissues (mass effect).
  • Numerical methods for temporal images integration

Within the Metamorphic framework, a set of PDEs governing image transport arises, similar to a particular case of the Navier-Stokes equations. Numerical schemes tailored to my specific task were developed to integrate it, allowing computation time to be reduced while accuracy was maintained.
  • Computationnal image Analysis.

  • Ecology

I have always been facinated by complex systems in interactions. Modelisation of such systems, and their sometimes chaotic behaviors, was one the first reason that led me to study mathematics.

Other Interests

  • Dancing: Traditionnal French danses, Swing, Forro
  • Music: I play the guitar (since 2017) and the oud (since 2023)
  • Drawing and Painting: (pen, pencils, watercolors, ink ...) and making posters for events.
  • Sports: I love trekking in autonomy, running, sailing, biking and rollerblades.
